WIP Eyetoad Challenge 9 entry.
Kitbashed from several kits (including some very old plastic Mordheim bits). Also I‘ve tried sculpting with greenstuff once again. A very rare occasion. But I‘m happy with how the armour thingy turned out.
The Eyetoad Challenge is a regular challenge run by the Weald community to boost creativity.
I‘ll post what I rolled on the tables when presenting the finished piece.

Two Weald Warden warbands finished (by the kids), twelve skeletons done (these were sitting in a box for the last 20ish years) and some WIP stuff. More terrain and more skeletons. And the famous town cryer from Mordheim.

The fineart prints have arrived. Hahnemühle museum etching fineart print. The quality is so good.
I do have this old baroque style frame which has seen better days. Perfect fit for my style. Found it on the street somewhere. Frame size roughly 100x75cm.
Now I’m wondering which fineart print to put inside. The latest photograph with the couple saying farewell? The Wraithguard kitbash in the film noir setup? Or the portrait of the Wraithguards?
All prints are 50x40cm. I could even place the two portrait mode photographs in the frame.

Painting done. Now they can move into their new apartment and immediately say goodbye to each other.
Oh, and after the showcase shots my shaky hands let them fall down. Now her head and a part of her rifle broke off. I hope I can fix that before the next step 😩

Doing more tests. I’m sure I’ll stick to the film noir vibes with this one. As you can see I haven’t painted the miniatures yet and they are still on a base. Plus some behind the scenes video. Now you can see the real size of the living room. Additionally here’s where some inspiration comes from as well. While walking the dog I see plants and try to change my perspective. And a tiny 15cm plant becomes a tree.
