Artist’s Statement

My work explores the interplay of imagination and reality through the lens of miniature worlds. These meticulously crafted scenes are more than just small-scale replicas—they are immersive narratives that invite viewers to step into a vision uniquely captured through photography. Each piece is a culmination of passion and precision: sourcing and customizing miniatures, hand-painting details, constructing intricate terrains, and composing scenes to bring my artistic vision to life.

Miniatures are a medium of escapism and reflection for me, a way to process the complexities of the real world. My work draws inspiration from diverse influences, including the evocative storytelling of great 20th-century female photographers. From dystopian knights navigating abandoned cityscapes to the quiet solitude of backstreet alleys, my pieces explore themes of resilience, isolation, and the unexpected beauty of imagined landscapes.

In some works, I merge traditional landscape photography with miniature compositions, blending reality and fantasy into a single frame. This fusion invites viewers to consider scale, perspective, and the narratives that emerge when the boundaries of imagination are stretched.

Each photograph is a world unto itself—meticulously crafted to evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and inspire a deep connection with the stories it tells.
